Carrie Jo and Renee will open the concession for you. It is your responsibility to close and bring the money to the bank at the end of the closing shift.
We have a new cash register in the concession this year. Please ring in all items sold. This will help with the monthly inventory.
Every family is responsible to cover a minimum of 4 shifts in the concession stand per child in Proctor Youth Hockey.
· If you cannot work or are unable to work the shifts, it is the responsibility of each family to find someone to work their shifts. It should not be the responsibility of your team or manager to fill your spot.
· There is an option to pay an approved high school student to work your shift for $30.00. The 30.00 must be paid before the shift starts. There will be a list of approved high school students posted in the concession stand.
· You will be billed at the end of the year if you do not fulfill your 4 shifts in the concession.
· You can opt-out for the season for $120.00. Families with 2 or more kids will be $150.00.

As the 2011/2012 hockey season is getting into full swing we would like to remind everyone of a few things when working in the concession stand.
· As we head into the cold and flu season we all know the importance of washing hands. Also, when handling unwrapped food, it is mandatory that everyone wears plastic gloves that are by the hot dog roller.
· When you have signed up for a closing shift or opening shift please follow the closing and opening guidelines that are posted in the concession stand.
· This year, for those who are signed up to work in the concession stand and have never done this before, it would be best if you could buddy up with someone prior to your first shift and have them show you how the concession stand operates. We suggest taking an evening during the week when it is less busy.

· There will be no selling of raffles or tournament clothing out of the concession stand during a tournament weekend. A separate table should be set up outside the concession stand.
· All raffle prizes and other tournament items should be stored in a locker room at the end of the night. Please do not store them in the concession. It is hard to get the concession stand ready in the morning with all of the tournament items in there.
