Proctor Hockey

st. luke's sports & event center paha/mirage procedures

  • If your child, or anyone in your household, is experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, a new cough, shortness of breath, a new sore throat, new muscle aches, new headache, or new loss of smell or taste; your player should stay home and you should contact your healthcare provider. If anyone in your household is positive for Covid 19 or has a pending Covid test, keep your child at home.

  • PAHA and Mirage players should check in before every event using Sportsengine RSVP (see document below).

  • Per the state mandate, masks (cloth or disposable mask, neck gaiter, scarf, bandanna, religious face covering or MDH/HECC approved sports mask that covers the nose and mouth completely) must be worn by everyone in all arenas at all times. This includes participants during on-ice practice and game play. Per the state mandate, this includes organized practices taking place outside.

  • All players must arrive at the arena fully dressed with the exception of helmets, skates and gloves (players who cannot tie their own skates should wear skates in with skate guards). Goalies must arrive at least half dressed. Only goalies are allowed to bring an equipment bag. Players are allowed to bring a small backpack or drawstring bag as needed. Locker rooms are closed at this time unless specified for a specific event.

  • Goalies will be allowed to enter 15 minutes before the event  starts.

  • No one else will be allowed to enter the arena until 10 minutes before the start of their event and must vacate within 10 minutes afterwards - this includes all players, coaches, and both on and off ice officials.  This is a MN Hockey rule. If you drop your players off early, they will have to wait outside.

  • If an event is running late, players will have to wait to enter until 10 mins prior to the event start.

  • Per MN Hockey, up to 3 coaches are allowed on the bench. Coaches must be masked at all times.

  • Spectators:
    • For practice: One spectator per player is allowed in the arenas needed. Per the MDH mandate, they must be masked and socially distanced from others and remain on the assigned spectator side of the arena.
    • For games:  Each player is allowed 3 spectators at the arena. Spectators should let players and coaches enter the arena before coming in. Visiting spectators should sit across from or behind the visiting bench (far end of the arena) on the indicated spectator side. Home spectators should sit across from or behind the home bench (lobby end of the arena) on the indicated spectator side. Children that cannot be left home alone are permitted but must remain with parents at all times.

  • FOR GAMES:
    • Teams will utilize the hallways for tying skates/getting ready before games. Each team will stay on half of the hallway on the specified side A or B (side will be indicated when you arrive). Away teams will use the far end of the hallway furthest away from the lobby. Home teams will use the front end of the hallway closest to the lobby. Away teams please fill the chairs from the furthest chair first.
    • Teams must now bring an extra roster sticker (Squirts, PW, & Bantams) for tracking spectators at the gate. This must be turned in to the gate volunteer before spectators will be allowed to enter. Mite teams may bring a print out of their roster for tracking.
    • Teams are required to keep their own tracking information for players (PAHA/Mirage will use Sportsengine) in the event that tracing is necessary. Teams/parents should keep a record of which games they have attended in the event that there is an exposure. If needed, teams will be notified and will be expected to be able to trace for their own teams and spectators.

  • The warming room will be reserved for teams scheduled to practice outside. Warming room rules are the same as the arena - players must arrive fully dressed with the exception of helmets, skates and gloves, goalies must arrive half dressed, no equipment bags with the exceptions of goalies, small backpacks and drawstring bags are allowed and no one will be allowed to enter the warming room until 10 minutes prior to the start of their event and must vacate within 10 minutes after practice. Per the MDH mandate, masks are required at all times in the warming room. One parent/guardian is allowed in the warming room with Mite/U8 players who need assistance with skates. Parents/guardians should not hang out inside the warming shack during practice as the next practice group will need to utilize the warming room to put on skates during each event. Any players wishing to rink rat may do so but should tie their skates outside in the players box or elsewhere. Players may use the bathroom in the warming room if needed but they should avoid times when teams are tying skates, they must be masked, and they should not hang out in the warming room area.

  • Please review the MN Hockey Return to Play Guidelines and other documents  below for additional rules and more information.
